Renee Janton started playing harp in 1988, performing, collaborating and playing with local Hawaiian musicians such as Mike Young and John Dumas, as well as visiting guest musicians such as the Grateful Dead’s Bill Kreutzmann and world renowned harpist Sylvia Woods. She believes that harps are a gift; that they provide the help of remembering who we are and how we’re connected to all the creation, and that playing or listening to them is like embracing the divine.
